I must confess…

I’ve been binging on the Bridgerton series these past weeks…

Smitten by how lavish, elegant, polished and regal they all looked then.

I find that being with the right people, at the right time plays a heavy role in determining your place in society.

Very much like the cut-throat world of business that we're in now.

Here’s why I think it is:

~Managing Social Expectations and Reputation:

Mindful of their actions are what would best describe the characters in Bridgerton. A simple slip up and the ton would definitely have a lot to say. Much like in the workplace, employees must align to company standards, build a positive image and uphold their reputation .

~The Importance of Networking:

It discusses the importance of alliance. Winning Queen Charlotte’s and the ton’s favor. In today’s workplace, networking is essential for career development. Putting in a word would open doors to new opportunities or shut one permanently.

~Ambition and Resilience:

Who would forget Daphne and Simon from Season 1? Proving that their dreams and ambitions are stronger than anyone. In the professional setting, persistence and focus leads to further career success.

~Support Systems and Mentorship:

Families play a significant role in the series, very much so in the workplace. The strong support system and right mentorship in professional communities, determines the fate of an employee.

~Adaptability in the Face of Change:

Every family in the series has been a victim of scandal or personal circumstances. They adapt rather than cower. They face the gossip head on. This adaptability plays a pivotal role in the workplace. With endless organizational changes or shift in industry trends, you simply have to adapt and learn.

Don’t you agree? 🤔

I wonder what Lady Whistledown has to say to her Dear Readers…✍
